ECACC 成立于 1985 年，是一家为研究界提供服务的细胞培养收集机构，并为欧洲提供国际保藏机构认可的专利保藏机构。
在过去的 30 年中，ECACC 不断扩大和多元化，成为世界上经过验证的细胞培养物的首要收藏之一，这仍然是 ECACC 业务的核心。这些馆藏目前拥有代表 45 种不同物种、50 种组织类型、300 种 HLA 类型、450 种单克隆抗体和至少 800 种遗传疾病的细胞系。
开发和维护如此多样化的集合不可避免地产生了高水平的专业知识，再加上英国公共卫生部门的支持，使 ECACC 能够将自己定位为细胞培养各个方面的专业知识中心。

The European Collection of Authenticated Cell Cultures (ECACC) is one of four Culture Collections of the UK Health Security Agency. We supply authenticated and quality controlled cell lines, nucleic acids and induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs).
ECACC was established in 1985 as a cell culture collection to service the research community and provide an International Depository Authority
recognised patent depository for Europe.
Over the last 30 years ECACC has expanded and diversified to become one of the premier collections of authenticated cell cultures in the world and this remains the core of ECACC’s business. The collections currently hold cell lines representing 45 different species, 50 tissue types, 300 HLA types, 450 monoclonal antibodies and at least 800 genetic disorders.
The development and maintenance of such a diverse collection has inevitably produced a high level of specialist knowledge and this, combined with the support of Public Health England, has enabled ECACC to position itself as a centre of expertise in all aspects of cell culture.
We have a comprehensive range of cell culture services, including cell line authentication and training courses, and diversified into new product areas such as high quality genomic DNA extracted from cell lines and iPSCs
