Hawksley is a long established business with a tradition of
producing well-engineered, dependable products at very competitive prices.
Established in Oxford Street London in 1869 by Charles Hawksley, the Company began by innovating with Counting Chambers. In the 1930's, Hawksley was bought by William Baum, a US businessman, and started to manufacture blood pressure monitoring devices.
In the 1950s Hawksley & Sons began an innovation programme to construct and manufacture a new range of centrifuges. Out of this came the Hawksley Haematospin 1300 & 1400, setting the standard for Micro Haematocrit centrifuges.
Hawksley have continued to manufacture quality products and have built a product range which compliments our manufacturing expertise in three specific medical areas: laboratory equipment & consumables, Patient Care, and Veterinarian equipment & consumables.
