SYNCELL’s founder and CEO, Dr. Jung-Chi Liao, has been developing what is now SYNCELL’s platform
technology at his Academia Sinica laboratory since 2014, after leaving his faculty post at the Columbia ]
University to return to his motherland, Taiwan.
Today, SYNCELL’s novel spatial proteomics technology turns a microscope into a “Microscoop™” –
the world’s first in-cell “pickable” microscope that applies an AI algorithm to selectively recover proteins and
nucleic acids from a specified morphology in situ.
Our Mission
Our mission is to accelerate the world’s understanding of proteomics. We continue to expand our
multidisciplinary team with dedicated members who strive on pushing the technology boundary to create the
first and only De Novo precision spatial proteomics tool. SYNCELL will soon bring its innovations to market as
products and services to empower researchers to address previously unattainable complex biological problems
and revolutionize the proteomics field.
