Basel Area   Business & Innovation is a non-profit agency dedicated to helping   startups, institutions and companies find business success in the Basel Area.   As an independent organization funded by the cantons of Basel-Stadt,   Basel-Landschaft and Jura, as well as by the Swiss government and private   foundations, we help develop a robust business climate and support innovative   ventures. We attract and support companies moving into the area, connect   organizations and entrepreneurs with collaboration partners, and help create   a vibrant ecosystem that fosters innovation.

We are on a mission to establish the Basel Area as the Swiss business and innovation hub of the future. With a focus on growing the region’s cutting-edge industries, we help match 

companies   with resources in our area.

Our goal is   to provide the ideal environment to unfold business and innovation potential.   We serve as a neutral, independent catalyst in harnessing the power of growth   for startups, international companies and expanding businesses. By forging   connections, we create opportunities for businesses to grow, accelerate,   transform and innovate.

We offer services in two main areas: investment promotion – encouraging companies to settle here – and innovation promotion – supporting entrepreneurs, innovative ventures, projects and startups.
