Since the foundation in 1988 ORGENTEC Diagnostika belongs to the leading companies in the diagnostic industry. In May 2014 Water Street Healthcare Partners, Chicago, USA, has committed equity to both acquire a majority position in Orgentec and invest in future acquisitions and initiatives that will build the company into a global leader of specialty diagnostics products.
The first step on the way to expand our global position and to grow our portfolio of tests was the merger with Corgenix Medical Corporation, Denver, USA. Corgenix is a leader in the development and manufacturing of specialized diagnostic kits for immunology disorders, vascular diseases (including the world’s only non-blood-based test for aspirin effect, AspirinWorks®), bone and joint disorders.
