Microfluidics – Surfactants and Beads
Microbe Isolation/Detection
As NGS continues to ignite research in labs and new technologies like Rapid Microbial Measurement transform scientific practice in the field, the lines between specializations have become less clear – and more important.
A biologist in the lab needs the work of fluorine chemists to run successful tests in droplet microfluidics. A program owner at a power plant depends on tools built by microbial biologists and nanochemists to track risk in cooling towers. To excel in one field, we need rigorous tools developed by experts who specialize in others. RAN Biotech works at that intersection.
We develop tools for scientists.
OUR SCIENCE MAKES YOUR SCIENCE BETTER.
Founder Dr. Roger Nassar started RAN Biotech in 2012. As a fluorine chemist, he spent his early career in research and product development, then created RAN Biotechnologies to perfect products under a different set of experimental conditions: The scientific market.
Based in Beverly, Massachusetts, less than 20 miles north of Boston, the RAN Biotech team includes specialists in chemistry, microbiolology and microfluidics. Our materials have been referenced in hundreds of publications and are relied upon by scientists around the world.
